At Arrowhead Stables, our mission is to provide exceptional horseback riding experiences for everyone.
We board horses , we have stalls and pasture board available . We give Western and English riding lessons to all ages . We have about 22 acres with trails to ride on . We also offer camps and girl scouts .

Our journey all started from a childhood dream. Barbara (my Mom) had a dream when she was a young girl about having a farm. Her passions have always been family, friends, children and animals close to home. That dream became a reality in 1976 when my Grand Mom, Uncle Jim, and my Mom bought an old race track and called it Lucky C Stables. The C stands for Courter which was their last name.
My Mom and Uncle Jim started out boarding at this farm until one day it came up for sale. During that time her father suddenly passed away from a heart attack. She was only 18 and her life pretty much crumbled around her. From what I have learned he was the best dad in the world. At that time the three of them had nothing to lose and decided to buy the farm. Lucky C started it all and my Moms dream came true.
In my eyes this was the best place on earth. I had horses, goats, sheep, rabbits, roosters, dogs, cats, ducks, and twenty- two acres to run around on. I was also able to ride whenever I wanted to, it was every kids dream. We have so many memories from Lucky C that so many people will forever hold in their hearts.
In the year 2000 we decided it was time to move the farm. Lucky C Stables was old and we had the opportunity to rebuild, so Arrowhead Stables was born. We named it Arrowhead Stables because Indian's used to hunt on the land. We still find arrowheads and different types of tools they used to use to this day.
In 2022 life threw us a curve ball. We were forced to move from our home that we built from the ground up from unforeseen circumstances. This was our business and supposed to be our forever home. It was life altering and we were heart broken to say the least .
Its been 3 years and we have been slowly building ourselves back up. Our new farm at 27 Reeves Station Road although we rent reminds us of our old roots at Lucky C. Its not fancy like 257 Harford Road was but its a beautiful place and horse heaven. We are making it our own and moving on.

Our horses are more than just animals - they're our partners and friends. We take great pride in our well-trained and well-cared-for herd, which includes a variety of breeds and personalities. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced rider, we have the perfect horse for you.
